About the event
Class will begin with discussion on Sankalpa, (a Sanskrit word translating to resolution or resolve), followed by gentle yoga poses/movement targeting specific areas of the body which tend to be tight for most bodies. The yoga nidra portion will follow and then class will end with further discussion on the stages of the practice, including the benefits. Tea will be provided as well as a journal for you to keep. Bring a yoga mat and the desire to experience true relaxation.
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practiced while lying down. Props are provided to help make the body comfortable. However, if lying down is not comfortable, the practice can be done seated on the floor or in a chair.
